Hi - Hope you all enjoyed Brian's 'Audience With'. Of course it was recorded last October - cos Anne Marie was still pregnant with Lucy, who is four months old now! Brian had a great time doing the show though. There were a few fraught moments backstage like when we realised Lesley Joseph had been given Brian's 'Dangerous' costume by mistake. The one Brian got into was split up the back. A quick hunt for some gaffer tape prevented a disaster.
When the pantomime finished in Birmingham, Brian took a welcome holiday - which meant some time with Amy and new baby Lucy. Then it was straight back to work on a new game show. The pilot went extremely well and it looks like it will go to series in the autumn. As soon as that was over it was pre-filming for the new series of the Brian Conley Show plus script meetings and discussions.
Brian is also busy recording a new album. I know I have mentioned this before but the project is now well and truly underway and I should be able to give you more information in the next newsletter.
BC also some weaved his magic on a big charity show in Canterbury, Kent back in April for his old mate Dave Lee. He has also promised to do a charity gig at Drury Lane on 10th November as long as his commitments permit.
Now he is into the new TV series with a vengeance. The ten week run starts on June 1st with Lulu, Terry Venables, Vicky Entwistle and Will Young. Don't miss it.
